We have found our home at Alexandra Court by Polygon!

In Spring 2012, we started Vancouvercondoinfo.ca to search for a place to call our first home and to share our reviews of new condo projects around the city.

After 2 years of searching, we are extremely happy to announce our purchase of a 2 bedroom, 2 bath top floor unit at Alexandra Court!

The expected completion date for phase 1 is March 2015. This is great and will give us ample time to pick out our new home decor and furniture :)

I especially like the integrated cabinets of the kitchen. Although, the fridge becomes smaller but its alright for the two of us.

River Park Place by Intracorp Preview


Another inspiring project is coming to the Richmond Oval area, River Park Place. A detailed website just launched yesterday revealing all the luxury design and interior features: http://www.intracorp.ca/riverparkplace/.

Looking at the plans, there will be three phases. With Phase one consisting of 216 homes starting from $299,900. And two bedrooms from $350,000. With this amazing price, I had to make sure whether it was wood-frame or concrete construction and the answer on the website was “concrete construction with glass and steel accents.”

There will be a lot of competition in the oval area for example Onni’s project Riva has many great features such as an indoor swimming pool and bathroom floor heating.

River Park Place is focused on environmental friendly practices, an impressive feature is the Jaga Briza advanced environmental control. Where all units will enjoy energy efficient heating and cooling & a motion-activated suite thermostat.

Riva by Onni

Riva by Onni Presentation Centre

Finally, I am excited to announce our condo review of Riva by Onni. Onni Group Developers has always stood out from the competition in Vancouver, particularly the recent projects in downtown and West Vancouver. Namely,Central and Evelyn which I am a big fan of and have raved about to everyone I know!

MC2 Living Presentation Centre Review

I think about my visit last Saturday to MC2 Living while munching on some onion spring chicken. Yes! I’m having dinner at The Roc Seafood restaurant, now only 5 minutes away from home! (The restaurant was originally in the space where now MC2′s future site will be).

So what would it be like to live in the Marine & Cambie neighborhood? I can imagine myself crossing the street to the future T&T supermarket and taking the Canada line to downtown on the weekends. And even going for a jog around Queen Elizabeth park.

The one bedroom and two bedroom show homes were beautifully staged. As I walked through the rooms, I could totally see myself living here. Although, you may argue that $338,000 for a 441 sqft  one bedroom condo is a bit much. It’s actually the standard for a concrete high rise in this area (For now).


Impressive Details:

The kitchen backsplash is gorgeous and open layout is convenient

The standard balcony is way more spacious than the norm

The carpeting in the bedroom is soft and had a wooly feel

The mirror cabinet in the bathrooms was nicely designed with storage space

Friendly customer service – not pushy, recommended another development in burnaby wall central if our location was flexible

Friendly front desk staff – smiled and were not playing on their smart phones
